DAFT PUNK - DISCOVERY

I don't care what some think of this album and Homework cus to me, Daft Punk definitely did and always do a damn fantastic job with these 2 albums. When bought Homework, I was in a funk. Now since i bought 2 copies of album, (the original cover and the other cover with the One More Time band) i was beyond amazed. The cd truly is the soundtrack of all japanimation and comic books. Take the videos for the first 4 tracks. Magnificent how each is a contiuation from the other. Thanks to Cartoon Network for playing the videos even though One more time was played couple times in march but forgotten by MTV (those bastards), one can't ask for anything more. Now i really cant wait to see what the videos for night vision, high life, and DEFINITELY superheroes look like.

Long live 2 of great djs who help bring forth the electronica scene to the US back in 97. Also another reason i love the discovery album cus Daft Punk did a callaboration with djs Sneak, Todd Edwards, and Romanthony. Speaking of which, without buying the album and you happen to get One More Time the single, watch the video, or hear it on the radio, I bet some of you probably thought it was Prince singing it instead. Cus that was my reaction when i first heard it on the radio. If you think the both sound alike, back when i first heard do a hit back in 93.

Last but not least another congrads to the duo for hooking up with the creator of Battle Ship Yamato/Starblazers, Leiji M. Now that's what i called FUNKY hits. Not bad for 2 pioneers who the same age i am.
