He's the living definition of a reggae legend. His unique crying vocals have graced Massive Attack's best releases ever since he joined them as a guest vocalist in 1990. The story of his Jamaican roots was told on Skylarking, his first album release for Massive's Melankolic label.

Horace Andy (aka 'Sleepy') learnt his trade at the Studio 1 compound on Kingston's Brentford Road with the likes of Lee Perry, Bob Marley and Leroy Sibbles.

His new album Living In The Flood is out now...

...and to celebrate Horace came into The Raft for a totally chilled and relaxed webchat which lasted an epic three hours...

...don't forget you can sample more Horace Andy on the Melankolic site... melankolic.
