a pattern began to emerge - all the albums we hated were sold with just the right amount of work with the aid of singles that were slightly better - if we were going to write a good album it seemed that the equation rather literally needed to flip on its head-a good album could be one with no dynamic single or marketing tool-it could simply be an hour of good sound - at this point we rather literally started to write with this at the forefront of our minds - at the very least it would be interesting to see wwhat resulted noizic was coined - 3d headspace - and the pressure was off to do what had become impossible - write hits - we'd turned our weakness into a strength - rule 1
