In fact, these days Air must be walking on air. 1998 was an incredible year for the French duo with their lush album 'Moon Safari' going to Number One in just about every end of year poll.

The frenzy which pursued them was highlighted when a special concert in London's Theatreland had touts copping £90 for the £10 tickets! But then, as Nicolas has said, they are "fresh French flesh". And you can't really argue with that...
